beacon's closet staff playlist - abby

This month, we’re dropping a store playlist from Abby, a buyer at our Greenpoint store. Think of it as a musical mood ring—whatever vibe you’re in, it’s got you. Bouncy bangers? Chill-out jams? Sing-your-heart-out anthems? All here. A little sweet, a little chaotic, a lot of fun—just like the devil and angel on your shoulders :)

what’s the vibe you like to bring to the store with this playlist?

I like to play something fun, something for everyone! I like to play music that keeps me moving and something I can sing along to. 

what inspired this playlist?

It encompasses all of the genres that I listen to. I have a range of genres I like and it's hard for me to stick to one for an hour. Sometimes having a playlist that has it all makes it easier. I also think making it have a range makes it inclusive to everyone listening.  

when’s your favorite time during the workday to throw this playlist on?

I usually like to play at 12pm or 1pm because my playlist helps me wake up and some of the tracks are more in your face. Starting it at 11am can be early, so 12pm is kind of the sweet spot. 

what’s your go to song that’s on repeat this month?

Fousheé- "Do you have a soul?" I love her voice and the beat of the song!
