c-note style with levygrey
harlem bred recording artist and producer levygrey cultivates his spontaneous style by exclusively shopping second hand. levy put together two looks from our racks for under $100.
levy how would you describe your style right now?
my style is super spontaneous and random. anyone with any sense of style would be able to tell all i do is thrift. it’s “genre-less.”
what or who is currently influencing your style?
my day to day emotions influence my style..when i’m feeling amped for a show you can see that in my outfit; i’d have on some super loud, bright yellow windbreaker or jacket. but if i’m chilling with family i’d probably tuck my shirt in and roll some chino pants up.
you’ve worked with diddy and kendrick lamar and your debut ep just dropped! what's coming up for you this summer?
for now we’re pushing shades and just trying to spread the sound and vision. be on the lookout for my show dates and visuals! and of course new music coming real real soon for the fans.
what's your strategy when shopping at beacon's?
my strategy for shopping at beacon’s closet is no strategy. you will almost never see the same thing twice at thrift shops so how could you plan your visit? let your body be that blank canvas that enables you to make art!
