paola and gabi met by chance at beacons despite having attended the same school, in the same program. their similarities go further than that though, since their personal art generally focuses on clothes as a part of cultural identity for caribbean women. both their most recent work is based on fashioning an alternate reality in the dominican republic and puerto rico. this shared inspiration lead them to collaborate in art and at the closet.
the resulting styling collections fuse together their individual influences and common interests as part of a continued discussion about clothes and identity.
