sapphire seas

road vogue

rocks were covered with neon sea grass that felt like the softest velvet under the water

in a private cove of the mediterranean, beacon’s buyer, allison, escapes the last of ny winter. the balearic island of mallorca boasts sapphire seas, limestone mountains and moorish remains. a true mediterranean gem.

destination: the island of mallorca, spain

purpose of journey: to escape winter and be on a beach

never travel without: a bikini and a book

favorite outfit you packed: a tribal fringe wrap skirt with a striped crop top

how many pairs of shoes: 3

what are you listening to: lots of harry belafonte, day-o in particular,  it really fit the mood. we also listened to local radio, they played a lot of spanish music mixed with classic 80s.  i think we heard ‘if you think i’m sexy” by rod stewart multiple times, haha.

favorite meal:  squid ink paella and grilled octopus

highlight of the trip:  waking up to a private beach and washing my face and brushing my teeth in the ocean <3
