secret project robot returns!

tonight, after an 8 month hiatus our dear, old friends at secret project robot are reopening in their third and final location at 1186 broadway in bedstuy! the organization started in 2004, moving from williamsburg's monster island to bushwick in 2001. in its previous incarnation, the diy space hosted events like, a surrealist dinner party, dirty looks film festival and was the birthplace of drag festival bushwig. today, the multi-purpose art/performance/party space will continue to create a communal art family. with sales from it's bar 'cuckoo' (open 7 days a week) spr will be a fully self sustaining artist run art space. in addition to cuckoo, the 2500 square foot converted warehouse boasts an exhibition/performance space, patio and soon be sculpture garden. look forward to more diverse collaborations and dynamic programming for the decade to come. join the party tonight with music and free champagne from 7 to 9pm!
