designer bunny leopard constructs powerful statement jewelry for her line BEL. she molds items of constraint such as locks and chains out of the unexpected material - porcelain. to wear a BEL piece is to play with paradoxes: representing strength and oppression, bondage and freedom, fragility or durability all at the same time.

"working with materials from deep in the earth and then wearing them is really special.  they make noises, are simultaneously heavy and lightweight . . . you're carrying around clay on your body and the experience is quite bizarre.” -bunny leopard
