Pan-Afro Wisdom Fest 2025 - from Divine Times Collective

Some of the Beacon’s Closet team joined the third annual Pan-Afro Wisdom Fest, hosted by Divine Times Collective, on August 17, 2025.

Set in Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King Park, the festival was a playground of music, art, and cultural celebration through intentional gathering. Centering Black, and especially Black queer voices across the African diaspora, the fest invited everyone to step away from the grind, reconnect with their truest selves, and let their inner child shine.

Highlights included Laraaji’s laughter meditation, a cozy drawing nook, yoga with Black Girl Fight Club (BGFC), and performances by Rocki Ozai and Cleo Reed.

Check out the coverage from our team members Autumn, André, Abby, and Odera below!
